User Experience: Scoping phase
Zumio (UNSW)

Redrollers was commissioned by Zumio (2008) and their client the University of New South Wales (UNSW) to investigate the needs of both students and academics in relation to the university’s research website. Stakeholder interviews were conducted as part of a user-oriented design process. From these interviews we developed a clear set of ‘User Goals’ to ensure that user needs and expectations inspired and grounded the design process. These User Goals were fed into the new website design phase led by Digital Eskimo. Redrollers also worked collaboratively with Zumio and Digital Eskimo through the next stage of the process to help develop the Personas and User Stories that were used to guide the overall design strategy.
